About Auvixus

The issuer of AUVX.

Auvixus Ltd is a private limited liability company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (reg. no. HE 499252), issuing AUVX to qualified investors.

Who we are

Auvixus Ltd.

AUVX is a gold-referenced token issued by Auvixus Ltd. Each token references 1 gram of gold, valued at the LBMA gold price, and is released in discrete tranches, each with its own release date.

The gold each tranche references is unmined when the tranche is released. AUVX is therefore not backed by allocated, vaulted physical gold at issue. Each AUVX gives its holder a contractual claim against Auvixus Ltd to redeem the token for cash at the LBMA price, or for physical gold from 1 kg, from 18 to 24 months after its tranche is released.

AUVX gives no shares, equity, voting rights, dividends, interest, yield or share in mining revenues or profits. Changes in its value come from the gold price, not from the issuer's business. Auvixus Ltd intends AUVX to be an asset-referenced token under MiCA (Regulation (EU) 2023/1114).

Frequently asked questions

Answers drawn from the AUVX white paper.

What is AUVX?

AUVX, the Auvixus Gold Token, is a gold-referenced token issued by Auvixus Ltd (Cyprus). Each token references 1 gram of gold, valued at the LBMA gold price. Tokens are issued in tranches.

Is AUVX backed by physical gold?

Not at issue. The gold each tranche references is unmined when the tranche is released, so AUVX is not backed by allocated, vaulted physical gold at issue. Holders have a contractual redemption claim against Auvixus Ltd, not a claim on any mine.

When can I sell AUVX back to the issuer?

From 18–24 months after the release of the tranche your tokens belong to. The exact date is in the tranche notice. Before then the issuer does not buy tokens back, and the only exit is a sale on a licensed venue to another eligible holder.

How does the cash buyback work?

Any number of tokens, no fee. You receive the LBMA gold price per gram on the date redemption is exercised, paid within 10 business days of the request.

Can I take physical gold?

Yes, from 1 kg: 1,000 AUVX (32.1507 troy oz), then whole troy-ounce increments. Logistics and shipping cost are arranged within 10 days; you have 48 hours to confirm. Shipping costs are borne by the holder and delivery is available only in eligible jurisdictions. If you decline, you can switch to cash, which takes about 10 further days.

Who can buy AUVX?

Only qualified investors under MiCA Art. 3(1)(30) — the professional clients listed in MiFID II Annex II, Section I, points (1) to (4) — who pass KYC and AML checks. Individuals who opt up to professional status are not included.

What is the minimum purchase?

1 AUVX (1 gram). The issue price is set for each tranche and published in its tranche notice.

Can AUVX be traded?

Yes, on licensed crypto-asset trading venues that restrict access to eligible qualified investors. Transfers to ineligible persons are blocked at token level by an allow-list. KYC is repeated before any transfer to a new holder.

Does AUVX pay interest, yield or dividends?

No. AUVX gives no shares, equity, voting rights, dividends, interest, yield, share in mining revenues or profits, or guaranteed return.

Is AUVX regulated?

Auvixus Ltd intends AUVX to be an asset-referenced token under MiCA. The offer is addressed solely to qualified investors under MiCA Art. 16(2)(b); the white paper is notified to CySEC but has not been approved by CySEC or any other authority. It is not a prospectus.

What are the main risks?

Production, issuer credit, no early buyback, liquidity, gold price, market price, regulatory, physical delivery, technology and tranche risk. AUVX may lose its value in part or in full and is not covered by any investor compensation or deposit guarantee scheme.

Which blockchain does AUVX use?

The blockchain and token standard are still to be confirmed.
